Overview

This circular from the Budget Office of the Federation, issued on 16 July 2024, announces the extension of the implementation period for the capital component of the 2023 Appropriation Act and the 2023 Supplementary Appropriation Act to 31 December 2024. The extension follows approval by the National Assembly. Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are instructed that the 2023 Capital Budget, including the supplementary budget, will continue to be implemented alongside the 2024 Appropriation. Permanent Secretaries and Accounting Officers are responsible for disseminating this information to their respective MDAs.
