This document is the National Housing Policy (NHP) of Nigeria, which provides a comprehensive framework for addressing housing challenges. It begins by stating that adequate housing is a fundamental human right as per the UN Habitat Agenda and acknowledges the government's past efforts but notes that housing delivery remains a major challenge due to the inadequacy of the 1991 policy.
