Overview

The Public Service Rules (2008 Edition) is an official document of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, published as a Gazette (No. 57, Vol. 96) on 25th August 2009. It revises the 2007 Edition to update rules, regulations, and procedures in the Public Service, aligning with current governance trends. The revision aims to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and service delivery by emphasizing transparency, accountability, justice, equity, due process, and rule of law.
