Overview

This is the Terrorism (Prevention) (Amendment) Act, 2013 of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, published as a supplement to the Official Gazette on 22nd April 2013. The Act amends the principal Terrorism (Prevention) Act No. 10 of 2011. It includes twenty sections that modify various provisions: Section 1 amends Act No. 10, 2011; Section 2 amends Section 1; Sections 3-8 are substituted; Section 10 is substituted; Section 11 is deleted; Section 12 is amended; Section 13 is substituted; Section 14 is amended; Section 15 is amended; Sections 16 and 17 are deleted; Section 24 is amended; Section 25 is substituted; Sections 26-29 are substituted; Section 31 is deleted; Section 32 is amended; Section 33 is substituted; Section 34 is deleted; Sections 36, 37, and 38 are amended; Section 40 is amended; and Section 20 provides the citation. The Act is part of Nigeria's legal framework to prevent terrorism and enhance security measures.
